This Mid-century modern nightstand is in excellent condition with only a few very minor scratches. Manufactured by Johnson Carper, it is constructed of solid poplar overlaid with wood veneer; the rectangular framing on the drawers is satinwood which is harvested for its satiny sheen and is often used for fine cabinetwork. This wood provides a contrasting luster to the body of the piece lending visual interest. The piece has a wood grained Formica laminate top in perfect condition. The drawer is constructed using dovetail joinery and slides easily. In excellent vintage condition, this nightstand is a rare gem.
